“Each of us can help many people. If all of us take on social ills in our communities we can heal our society. It need not take long and it is highly rewarding.”
Extreme poverty, injustice, lack of access to education, child labor, violence and sexual abuse of children, street harassment, rape, acid attacks, abandonment of victims, murder can be listed as “the top ten” of urban Indian challenges.
Ajay co-leads a bundle of successful initiatives to tackle each of them. He is their “english voice” to the world, since the young activist women speak Hindi. In these poor neighborhoods, there is little access to foreign language education. The young women’s priority is direct local action.
Together, we create international partnerships
- for support, dialogue, collaboration and friendship
- to create opportunities for the young women to learn, grow and earn incomes
- for travel, tourism and exchange
and to let the world benefit of their inspirational example.
