You have probably heard of the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC), which is an international organization for museums and science centers. Each year they hold an annual conference, and this year it is in the United States, with people from 40 countries attending.
Avalon (Conserve It Forward), Madi and Rhiannon (Project Orangs, United Nations Forest Hero Award) have been at Raleigh, North Carolina for an exciting opportunity! For the first time in their 40 year history, ASTC has had the voice of youth represented.
There have been 6 of us from California, North Carolina and Florida, and they’ve been making the Action for Nature Youth Panel, as well as doing other fun activities such as a school visit.
