a small town of 17,772 inhabitants, a MATH TEACHER used their story, tasking students to calculate the costs of building a school in the mountains. Grinning, he said “you wouldn’t even make 1,000”.

Students fumed, decided to show him – and scored 10,000.

In year two, they scored 20,000!

In this small town where nothing ever happened … the people have found a MISSION.

their state’s Minister of Education was in town, and the crew spontaneously decided to go see him. They presented themselves, their cause, their new challenge and if he would help them. Impressed, he (of course) said “amazing, sure, how can I help?”

“Put it on your ministry’s newsletter to school principals, calling them to get involved.”

“Consider it done.”

The Christmas season neared, and schools joined in.
