I cannot compete with the changemakers I interview, and those in YL programs. They share 400+ awards among them, including their societies’ and humanity’s finest.
I hope that you will decide to learn from them, support them and bring their example to the kids of today.
A FEW WORDS ON AWARDS
If titles and awards helped us save people and planet, we would be living in Paradise already!
Oh, all those splendid biographies! All those clever people and honors of an unsustainable civilization that only yesterday emerged from monarchy, slavery, fascism, racism and superstition, that only begins to re-learn empathy, sensuality, leading a happy life, loving companions and children, even feeding themselves without getting sick … are u kidding? And then – what do they even know of the natural laws of living on this planet? So, see I am not too impressed by awards and titles, and neither should you.
We need new quality levels. I terms of what “hero*ines” today help us 7 billion helpless citizens find ace quality guidance for making instant mega positive changes to our communities, I have defined such a benchmark for the selection of YL HeroInes in CG RISING.
It matters who actually issues awards. How can non-awesome, non-hero people even tell? They’re always distracted by numbers and popularity in an unsustainable society, and its guard dogs. As a consequence, innovation is seen late, and even the finest awards are revoked a few years later, when finely crafted PR masks fall, and laureates’ true, impure spirit shows. That doesn’t live up to the quality we need!
That’s why I invite you to look at
- what I do, its quality,
- what people say about it,
- and who my friends are.
Make up your mind.
However, some awards
give you an idea of the level that someone operates at, the people s/he interacts with, the quality … and these awards serve as a SEAL OF TRUST, especially when you know how to read between the lines. Some of these are the awards listed above. There’s a few more that I source my hero*ines from.
So, hats off to the good awards!
If you think that what me and my friends are doing, why not nominate us next time you come an award that’s about doing good things for people and planet, education, youth, news media culture … ?
