All youth have the right to learn that. So do all citizens, funding schools with their taxes, since our good future and retirement years depend on them.

This cannot get taught in closed formal classroom setting. It is learned through practice in teams, preferably organized as student clubs following their focus passion, causes and activities, while also contributing and participating in other teams’ activities and vividly documenting one’s activities.

Student leaders and members shall and will naturally collaborate with teachers to bring global issues to life. It is recommandable to align this with UN Theme Days.

Supportive Methods

You can use stories in subjects and leave it to fate that students form clubs. However, our era calls for urgency and students’ time at school is short. Hence, we highly recommend to strongly support the birthing of Changemaker Student Clubs, to anchor them in school space and life, and to .

Poster Exhibit combined with … a meeting with inspired adults who show examples of youth leadership and options and opportunities with YL programs and project partners, and declare their support to help and work together.

These student leaders reach all classes and years. they can be the first to take the Crash Course, form the club. They will reach into all their classes, daily, long-term, inform and involve peers. You can also give them formal YL Coaching for a full year; view School Of Excellence below.
