The Purpose Of Schooling

The purpose of schooling is to unfold all of students’ precious talents, and to nurture an excellent degree of faculty of judgement, sound knowledge and skills.

The goal has to be the education of personalities that are able to strongly resist the ideology of nazism and all political ideologies aiming at a rule of force, and to form societal life on the basis of democracy, peace, liberty, human dignity, gender equality, and in harmony with nature and environment.

These personalities must be aware of their responsibility towards the general public, and their demeanor must be defined by the recognition of equal rights for all people, the respect of all honest conviction, and the recognition of the necessity for continuous development of societal conditions, and the peaceful agreements between peoples.

This would even have made me stay in the teaching profession. Well, until that is achieved, I’ll help you folks, and the kids make it true. After all, they all have a right to up-to-date learning culture, and to be like the hero*ines they are shown as role models.

As Craig pointed out, ‘Never in human history has the teacher profession been this important’, and I’d like you to have fun living your responsibility with great success.

You have a lot of NEW tools and options. That’s good news. You wouldn’t get far with 3. Or alone.

Stories in class are good, but the very best is the LEVEL UP! Crash Course. Why? Because only this creates an immersive group experience of shared appreciation and enthusiasm for youth leadership, shared passion for causes, shared vision and motivation for doing XYZ, for real. You see, this is the key, since hero*ines are inspirational, right? This tells you it is all about the spirit; a feeling, a specific inner alchemy. This session sparks first actions, forms a club, and makes that students support activities and changemakers through respect, attention and contributions. That’s a big deal, and unachieved by conventional learning programs, or organizations. We experience it in our sessions, and we wish that you will, too. Start at young age.

A bit of poetic imagery ... and big picture ... after all you are an academic ... with purpose
The LEVEL UP! Crash Course sessions 1+2 lays the spirit(ual) foundation, the fertile soil from which hero*ine flowers grow, that embody, radiate and restore inner and outer peace, bliss and abundance in society, like a Paradise Garden. You have sleeping seeds all around you. The strong spirit and love (sun and water) conveyed via role model stories, videos and music enrich this ground, so that the humans growing from it raise their gaze upwards to the light, smile, enjoy living, thrive, multiply, regenerate and heal our hurting societies.

What if a school has toxic, barren grounds, where potential elves, hobbits and nerds with gentle feelings for people and planet are intimidated by others that display brutish, beastly behavior, physical and psychological violence, criminal acts rosy-colored as bullying, harassment, or shaming like “eco-slut”. This sabotages their entire local generation. Nothing good can grow there. This must no longer be.

The few heavily traumatized need and deserve proper healing in a proper space. It is their Children’s Right. And it is their responsibility to not harm, impede or drag down others. The other 90+% also have rights. They have the right to acquire the skills to shape a peaceful future affecting millions, to avoid experiencing unspeakable suffering and through lack of heart and competence being forced to force the same on their own children over their next seventy years.

Their right to learn to become “able, active, caring citizens of a libertarian-democratic society, that is also peaceful and sustainability, in a harmoniously global family of nations” is enshrined in §1 The Purpose Of Schooling. This is not the time for #FalseTolerance. It is every teacher’s obligation to teach it. We also have a zero tolerance policy for failing teachers. It works at thousands of schools, no matter what form, charter, state, private, free, democratic or home … so it can work at yours.

As adult generations, since the emergence of humanism, we have pooped out totalitarian religion, totalitarian monarchy, and totalitarian fascism. We have upgraded from being violent (satanist) superstituous fools, from minions of monarchy, from morons of fascism … to informed voters. On this path, we have found our way back to being humane. We know that hitting children, women, and men is a crime. Now, we are making the next upgrade. As a society, and as individuals. “Able, active, caring citizens” will co-create and inhabit the next level collaborative society, in harmony with the Living Planet.

But this new, GOOD society can only come about WHEN there is a majority of Able, Active, Caring Citizens.

We implement the new model solutions. But we also activate the new human model, running on a new Operating System, a new mind- and skillset! Like democracies’ informed voters are very different from minions of monarchy and morons of fascism … in their worldview, skillset, expression, relations and participation! 

The new model of citizens are not voters, sitting idle, disempowered. They are changemakers!! They implement solutions. Youth Leadership embodies this. It is the, and the only training practice for living this for one’s ten forming years at school, among big, co-creative, multi-skilled community – evolving encompassing agreement and vision among their entire genera-tion for their collective future. It is ONLY at school that it can happen to relevant degree. That is how important you are.

You have a key professional role to play. Now LEVEL UP! and rock it. Geez will you and your kids be proud on ya … everybody peaceful and shining at your deathbed. But until then, there is work to do. We have a planet to save. May you wield your powers well. #BeMoreAwesome
